1. ⚠️ ALLERGEN SAFETY DISCLAIMER (MOST IMPORTANT — READ THIS)
Food allergies can be life-threatening. VivEat is not a safety device and cannot keep you safe from allergens.
Allergen filtering is best-effort AI and is NOT guaranteed. VivEat uses automated (AI and rule-based) processing to try to exclude the allergens you enter. This process can and will sometimes fail. It may miss an allergen, misclassify an ingredient, overlook hidden or derived ingredients, ignore "may contain" / trace / cross-contamination warnings, or fail to reflect the specific brand or product you actually buy.
You must verify every ingredient and every product label — yourself, every single time. Before buying, preparing, or eating anything suggested by VivEat, read the full ingredient statement and allergen warnings on the actual product packaging and confirm it is safe for everyone who will eat it. Retailers may substitute products, and product formulations change.
Never rely on VivEat to protect a person with a food allergy. Treat every VivEat suggestion as an unverified starting point, not an allergen-safe guarantee.

2. Nutrition Disclaimer
Per-serving nutrition figures (calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, fiber, and similar) shown in VivEat are AI-generated estimates. They are not measured, laboratory-verified, or professionally reviewed, and may be materially inaccurate.
Actual nutrition depends on exact ingredients, brands, quantities, substitutions, and preparation.
Nutrition estimates are provided for general informational purposes only and are not medical, clinical, or dietary advice. Do not rely on them to manage a medical condition, meet clinical targets, or make health decisions. Consult a qualified professional for personalized dietary guidance.
3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
VivEat's meal plans, recipes, cooking steps, nutrition estimates, and dish photos are produced by artificial intelligence (including Anthropic's Claude and Azure OpenAI image generation).
AI output may contain errors, omissions, unusual or unsafe combinations, or content that is unsuitable for your needs. Recipes may be incomplete or incorrect; cooking times and temperatures should be verified against safe food-handling standards.
Dish photos are AI-generated and illustrative only. They may not accurately represent the actual recipe, ingredients, portion size, or finished result.
Always apply common sense and standard food-safety practices (safe internal cooking temperatures, ingredient freshness, avoiding cross-contamination, safe storage). VivEat does not replace professional culinary, medical, or nutritional judgment.
4. FTC Affiliate Disclosure
VivEat earns commissions on grocery links.
VivEat participates in affiliate and partner programs, including through the Impact network and with retailers such as Walmart, Instacart, and Kroger.
When you purchase groceries through links or add-to-cart handoffs in VivEat, we may earn a commission or referral fee, at no additional cost to you.
